Would like to give these a go as 13 month old DD's latch is causing blisters

Assume they are ok as supply is very much established

Would DD notice anything?!

Any advice or experiences most welcome

At 13 months I'd say give it a go. Worst thing she'll probably do is refuse. The Medela ones are meant to be good as come in small, medium and large.

gaelicsheep · 26/10/2010 22:11

I think she would definitely notice - have you seen them, they're massive! I have to say she would probably refuse as well, but I agree there's no harm in giving them a go. (No harm in any case IME, but that's another story). I would recommend Medela contact ones.

I use Medela. They are my fave. But boots own kind are softer and collapse. Perhaps your DD won't notice them? The Medela and avent ones are firmer like a bottle teat. Hmmm probably firmer than bottle tests actually!

Thanks so much

Will give them a whirl

can you see a bf counsellor to see if you can improve the latch?
Giving them a try probably won't do any harm but she'll definitely notice - it makes your nipple very different

I have a pack of Medela (never used). I can send them to you if you like?

rubyslippers · 27/10/2010 15:48

That would be amazing

Can send you postage? Shall I inbox you?
