DD ( almost 12 weeks) has started pulling off and turning her head towards my leg during feeds. She is hardly staying latched on for long before she's pulling off. There's loads of milk there- given the wet patch on my leg as she pulling off. It seems to be worse on the left than the right but is happening on both sides. She seems more content to have her hands in her mouth than my boob despite the fact that she's gone about 4 hours since her last feed. So should be hungry. any ideas? I've tried winding and it doesn't seem to make any difference. Just when I thought we were getting sorted!

My DD is 18weeks and sometimes does this, did it really badly for a couple of weeks. Sometimes she will only feed for 5mins before doing it but she still only goes 2hrs between feeds!!

Have a look here might help -

thanks that was useful. I have noticed she is much better when swaddled for bedtime and night feeds. When she's bad it's like she's trying to swim on my chest whilst feeding!

My DD is better in night, nice and relaxed!

She has started dragging her hand across my chest so I have bought a bf necklace which I try to get her to hold -
