Getting a 12 weeks old to take a bottle

My 12 week old has been exclusively BF. He has has taken a bottle before but only the odd one or two as I have never needed to give him one. Now he is refusing it just as I think about maybe leaving him for a couple of hours to get a break. I am not wanting to stop BF just give him the odd bottle of expressed milk.

He does not have a dummy not sure if that makes a difference.

Does anyone have any tips?

I have tried several bottles, dream feeding etc.

I am starting to think I will not be able to go anywhere until he is on solids.

Are you giving him the bottle, or someone else?

cradle him in the crock of you arm and let him suck milk from your finger for a minute or so and then slowly swap to teat, you do this as he is looking for your smell and your voice ,keep hubby close to interact with him and after a couple of feeds you should be ok.This used to work with my dss and they survived and are now 6ft 2 and 6ft 3
