EBFing DD3 who is now almost 6 months and I haven't had my periods back yet. Just wondering when other EBFers got theirs back (not that I'm hoping Wink - just checking I'm normal)

Not at all till I stopped bfeeding with all 3 DDs - including the months where I was only doing a morning and night feed. So that was 11 months, 12 months and 15 months respectively 'Twas fab Smile

mumbybumby · 16/10/2010 22:49

Lucky you Poledra! Mine returned after 2 1/2 months and were regular as clockwork until I got pregnant again (I was still EBF DD). Might be luckier this time! :)

TheNextMrsDracula · 16/10/2010 22:51

Mine came back about three months after stopping bf. Heaven. I remember scraping a layer of dust off my box of tampons!!

smellyfeet · 16/10/2010 22:51

Mine returned properly at 13 months, just as I returned to work and was settling DD into nursery.

Franup · 16/10/2010 23:00

I've fed one child to 10ms, one to 20ms, and one to 30ms! My periods always come back when I go back to work, so that was 6ms, 9ms, and 7ms respectively! It doesn't matter how much the baby is feeding at that point, they still come back.

MoonFaceMama · 16/10/2010 23:03

Just got mine at 8m Sad Guess that's the price i pay for a little more sleep at night Wink Smile

MrsKitty · 16/10/2010 23:06

With DS it was around 10 months (when he started sleeping through) and with DD is was just last month at 12 months (Although still no sign of her sleeping through Sad)

BeGoneFoulBeast · 16/10/2010 23:10

When dd was 13 weeks. Bfing at least every 2hrs day and night. Bah.

MoonUnitAlpha · 16/10/2010 23:11

I got mine at 6 weeks :( Despite still feeding in the night and every 2-3 hours in the day.

moajab · 16/10/2010 23:18

I've exclusively fed all of my DCs. With DS1 it came back at 6 months, with DS2 it came back at 8 months and with DS3 it came back at 7 months. Be warned - I found the first few periods were incredibly heavy, but after about six months they settle down again.

TruthSweet · 17/10/2010 09:56

With DD1 it was about 9 weeks (though she was mainly bottle fed to 8 weeks then bf to 3.6 y/o). With DD2 it was 11.5 m/o (ebf to 23 weeks and bf at mo). DD3 was 2 days before her 1st birthday, ebf to 26 weeks and bf currently. I have had 3 periods since Feb 2007! Gotta love bfing Grin

Fluteyboots · 17/10/2010 10:28

DS is nearly 1, still feeding morning and night. No sign of oeeiods yet :)

EauRouge · 17/10/2010 11:29

9 weeks, despite feeding on cue, co-sleeping and carrying DD around in a sling Envy

Ineedsomesleep · 17/10/2010 12:34

Over a year. My GP said that I should get referred to a hospital. Shock Explained that it was perfectly normal and he seemed surprised, asked him to look it up on Kellymom Grin

jemjabella · 17/10/2010 13:03

10mo :)

Jacanne · 17/10/2010 13:19

18 months :)

crikeybadger · 17/10/2010 13:20

Still no sign yet at one year today. Smile

mistressploppy · 17/10/2010 13:22

8 months but DS was never a big drinker, slept through from 4mo

JulesJules · 17/10/2010 13:23

Ineedsomesleep Grin

I think it was about 9m and 13m. I was still bf both times.

Rindercella · 17/10/2010 13:26

DD1 was 8 weeks. DD2 was 6 months.

DS was nearly 8 months: they came back when he got more into solid food. And it bloody hurt! I called NHS direct because I thought I was dying.Blush

BalloonSlayer · 17/10/2010 13:34

8 months with all DCs I think.

There are 17.5 months between DS1 and DD Grin

StainlessSteelCat · 17/10/2010 13:35

Am so jealous! EBF both DCs for at least 8 months, periods returned 1 month after birth, right on cue. Gutted!

SpecterBooAlot · 17/10/2010 13:36

About a month
