I went to the doctors today because for a few weeks now I have been getting a stinging pain in my nipples and breasts, it only happens when my nipples are hard and the tips of my nips go so white they almost glow! It doesn?t hurt when I?m feeding and can happen just after a feed, just before or even a hour or so in between feeds. My doctor exmind me and said they are both healthy breast Grin he asked another dr what she thought and she just said to go to the local BF support group, which I will but does anyone on here have any thoughts or advice until the next group on Wednesday?

I feed in a different position in the night because we co-sleep, but that doesnt hurt either. I read about a woman who had breast pads that had metal wire in that were like nipple warmer but I cant find any of them.

I will try the hair dryed fleece, I use fleece nappy liners, so think I will nick one from the kids, how sexy? Wink

I have this a bit but it tends to be ok just after a feed and worse before which made me wonder if I need bigger bras as my nipples which are very sensitive when my breasts are full tend to get a bit squished as boobs fill. I don't seem to get it at night when I'm not wearing a bra.
