I breastfed DS for over 2 years and never felt a letdown once. DD is just over 3 weeks old and for the last few days I've noticed occasionally my nipples have tingled momentarily between feeds. They did it again just now and when I checked the milk was pouring out! I don't notice it when I feed her though, but I'm sure it must be letdown. Has anyone else had different sensations with different DC?

Yes I think so. I don't remember ever noticing it between feeds with DS, although feeding itself was blardy painful. I frequently get that tingling letdown feeling with DD, and sometimes I'd call it quite uncomfortable. It's not so much in my nipples though as the whole front part of my breast.

Mine were the same but that is defo let down.
Some women never feel let down as a sensation but have no problem feeding their baby.

I occasionally get let down feeling (pins and needles around nipples) when I hear/see a baby, even though I gave up feeding DS almost 3 years ago!!! Freaky.

I don't get it in the breast that I'm feeding from, but in the other breast. Its an uncomfortable pinching tingly sensation but only lasts a few seconds.

Interesting. I never worried about it because I know my mum never felt letdown when she fed any of us. It's just odd that it's started now!
