He won't take the bottle without a fight!

Hiya, my baby boy is 5 months old. I was solely breastfeeding but in the last few weeks i've decided to do a mix of bottle and breast in attempt to improve his sleep and give me a bit of a break. It went really well and we had at least 10 days where he took the bottle for his night feed only. I decided to up the bottle feeds so that he has a breakfast bottle too (i'm still breastfeeding in the night) but all of a sudden he's going off the bottle and gets upset when we give it.
Any advice please? I can't go back to purely breastfeeding!!

I think if he was taking it for 10 days then he has no issues with the bottle, maybe hes just testing you I would persist maybe getting someone else to feed the bottle (mine wouldn't take bottle from me but would her dad!)try intimitant feeding, offer bottle, if he doesn't want it come away for 5 mins then try again and so on (we had to do this when she started having solids and didn't want any water or juice)also I tend to alternate my feeding ie breast first thing then breakfast with breast, a soley solid lunch but breast mid afternoon then soley solid dinner with breast to finish at bed time to ease of slowley not sure if any of these will help good luck and stick with what you decide :0)

Have to say you'll have to wait him out, offer the bottle and continue to offer it until he drinks it then at the next feed offer bottle again if that goes ok then do breast the next feed and then bottle so he gets used to accepting whichever is offered.
