How often does your 9 month old BF in a day ?

DS2 is just past 8 months old and is exc BF. We have done BLW since he was 6 months and he is offered food 3 times a day when we have meals. His nappies changed about 3 weeks into BLW and I think he is now well established on solids and eating a good range and amount of food. He is still BF on demand and tends to feed on waking, mid morning, mid afternoon, bedtime and then usually twice at night. I am going back to work part time when he is 9 months old and am wondering whether he will manage with BF in the morning and evening and then food and water during the day. DH will be looking after him at home so there is no issue in me leaving some frozen EBM for him.

What do you reckon ? Will he adapt and be fine without milk during the day or should I leave some ?
thanks in advance

I think he will be fine. In my experience, when Mummy is there then breastmilk is an option, but if you aren't there he will very quickly get used to the idea. He may not even ask for bm while you are at work. Children are very adaptable. And it's great that he has plenty to eat and drink so it's not like you'll be worried he'll be going hungry waiting for you.

Good luck with returning to work :)
