Breastfeeding - battling at 14 weeks

Really would appreciate some views

My DS is 14 weeks and EBF and breastfeeding is just getting harder and harder. I would love any views on whether this is normal/what I might do to improe things. i don't want to top up or give up BF, but there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. I do want what's best for my baby, and at the moment I don't feel certain he is getting enough from me.

-he constantly comes on and off the nipple, drinks through the initial letdown and then yanks, pops, fusses, wriggles, moans, rolls his head into my boob. I persist but sometimes its just as if he's playing or frustrated, or possibly even using me as a teething ring?

-we often have feeds where I wonder if he is satisfied, he always seems happy to be on the boob, but sometimes will only yank and faff after 5-10 mins feeding.

-his sleep has gone from half decent to waking and wanting to feed after 2 hrs or so, which is exhausting. That said, sometimes he doesn't seem to feed very well at night.

I have tried expressing, but find it really tough and don't get much.

Thanks for any suggestions.

My 13 week old has gone from feeding 7 times a day to 9 times (but is still sleeping well). She does the yanking at the breast thing too but i try to just take her off if she does this and try the other side. she seems very erratic in how often she needs to feed at the moment, sometimes every 1.5hours sometimes could go for 4 hours so if she fusses i just take her off and feed her later. I haven't tried expressing as I hate it!!She can feed in less than 5 mins if she is feeding well so maybe your LO is getting enough from those quick feeds.
