Pumping Mums, I've started to notice

that I get better suctiom from my pump if pumping into a 4oz bottle rather than the larger 9oz one. Haven't figured out the science bit but thought it might be useful to point it out. Don't kow if its just me, though!

Yes I noticed this when I was pumping for DTs when they were in special care, maybe it is something to do with less air in the bottle?????

I pump straight into sterilised storage bags. I bidded for them on ebay and got 40 for a fiver the last time.

Not sure why, Alux, but my milk used to go curdled-looking after being in storage bags but not after being stored in bottles.[puzzled emoticon!]
