My DS (10 weeks) has been exclusively breastfed till now. I am trying to move him onto the bottle without success. Any advice?

is it the bottle he is rejecting or formula?

if it is the formula i suggest you express a couple of ounces if you can and mix it with the formula (probably something like 75% EBM to 25% forumla) and see if he will take that. If he does, gradually increase the formula content.

if it is the bottle, you might need to find a teat that suits him. We used Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature and think they are brilliant. Be careful what speed teat you use though. BF babies seem to be used to a slower flow than FF babies so you might need to keep him on a slow flow teat until he gets more used to the process.

My little one struggled to take a bottle following EBF too but someone suggested I try the breastflow bottles by first years. They worked really well as they mimic BF and after minimal fuss, she took it. Hope that helps.
