I feel a bit lost with the whole bottle feeding thing as I was just used to whipping my bangers out on demand.

Anyway, when should my DS be having bottles as in what times of the day? The HV says 1 in the morning and 1 at night but the milk says he should have 3. He is still waking in the night and I think he's hungry but out of routine iyswim?

Thanks for your help.

at 9 months ds had just dropped down to 3 - one in the am, one mid-afternoon and one before bed. He cut down to 2 around 10 1/2 months. He also had 3 meals and a mid-morning snack (the snack replaced the mid-morning milk feed that stopped at 9 months)

Thanks. I think DS is just a piggy as he's having snacks and milk. Did you give the milk in the morning first thing or after your LOs first nap?

i would give him milk first thing followed by his breakfast. At lunch i would just give him a normal lunch and some juice/water, a bottle mid afternoon and then a bottle before bed.
