Bit of a way off - bab is 11wo, but thinking about weaning - we bf, I am expressing and freezing milk, his lordship won't take bottle yet, but that's another matter.

Question is, what volumes of milk will I expect 6 month old to need eg if I bf am and pm, some solids and offering expressed breast milk via bottle/cup rest of the day when bab at nursery; I assume also mix some milk into solids.

Assume baby takes 25oz in the day (19-30 range). Divide by no. of feeds to get an average amount per meal. so 8 feeds a day will be roughly 3 oz each.

Babies will take more from a bottle if it there IME, so we juut offer more if she isn't is satisfied. Your baby can then play catch-up during the evening if required.

At 6 months, I'd assume they still need the same amount of milk. Over time, it will hopefully decrease. At nearly 7 months, DD takes about 10oz during the day

oh should add, sometimes she only has 7oz, as a 7-10oz range.
Before weaning the range was 9-13oz
