feeling sad please help

after a year of bf i have been forced to give up as dd was into biting i tried every trick in the book to get her to stop but couldnt am here in tears i need some reassurances cause i feel so guilty about stopping despite the fact she drew blood on a couple of occasions Sad

You did really well Bf for a year and have given your dd a fantastic start in life. I stopped feeding my DS1 at 11 months for the same reason. He seemed so unbothered by my stopping that I wondered if the biting was in fact a sign that he was ready to stop. Probably hormonal changes as your body adjusts to not breastfeeding are making you feel worse - hopefully this will settle down soon. Try to focus on all the other lovely things you can do with your dd and take lots of photos of her having fun. Then when you're feeling down look at her lovely smiling face and remind yourself of what a great childhood you're giving her.
