Breastfeeding and..... lumpy boobs

I had a breast lump 2 years ago (a year after finishing BF DS) which on an ultrasound turned out to be just a fibroid. The last few days I have discovered another lump, quite small feels bit like a pea, and am starting to get worried its something dodgy. Am going to the docs monday to get checked out but as i am still BF DD who is
1 next week, was wondering if its normal for boobs to be a bit lumpy whilst BF? I think i got a bit complacent with checking them after it turned out to be nothing last time but i wish i had checked them more frequently now as ive not idea how long this lump has been there for. has anyone experienced this?

One of my friends got a lump and it turned out to be a type of calcification that is common in pregnancy - might be common in breastfeeding as well. Sorry I can't be of more help. It could just be a blocked duct. let us know how you get on.

I have been BF for three months and I still wake up every morning with almost square breasts they are so full and lumpy! It is probably nothing to worry about but good to get it checked out.
