Is there a 16 week growth spurt?

I vaguely recall there is another around this age - DS is 16 weeks tomorrow and usually sleeps through the night but was awake for a feed at 2am this morning and again at 6am. He seems really unsettled so could it be a growth spurt or is he coming down with the hideous cold DD has had all week ?

oh god, we are still in the 4 month growth spurt/regression at 19 weeks.

last night ds woke about every hour, except 4-7, when ds1 qnd 2 woke up, and dh is away! so i am shattered and grumpy.

all of my children started waking more around this age, but last night was the worst for months.

or it might be your dd's cold, or a combination

Oh joy, I have a lot to look forward to then!

Knew it was too good to be true, he has been sleeping 8-7 for about 6 weeks or so, I feel half-dead this morning - and have 3 other children to get out of the house in the next 30 mins. None of us are dressed and DS is still firmly attached with no signs of coming off.

DHelp!

More info on the 4 month developmental/growth spurt / sleep regression here, here, here and here.

It's hideous, but it does pass - honest. :)

Angeldog I've just forwarded your incredibly helpful links to a friend who is pulling her hair out. Thanks again for posting.
