DD not that interested in formula

I have been giving my 8 month DD one bottle of formula in the afternoon for a couple of months. She has two morning and one night time breast feeds. She has never been that keen on her bottle feed. I now have found a bottle she likes - mam one which helps. I have tried different formulas. She accepts them all to a point. I try and give her 7oz but she will only take 1 or 2oz and then I have to persuade her over two hours to take the rest or a few more oz. I tried her on powdered formula today and she point blank refused even though she was really hungry! Is there any reason she would prefer ready to use formula? I am thinking of sticking with that as at least she will drink that eventually but it is expensive. The plan was to swop one feed at a time to formula but I am making very slow progress! Any advice appreciated.

ready to serve formula is generally sweeter than the powdered stuff. That might be what she prefers.

Haven't got any advice on your dilemma though. All i can think off is to wait till she is really hungry (like first thing in the morning) and then try again.

Will she take EBM in a bottle? If she is happy to take expressed breast milk, you can gradually switch over by starting with just EBM for a few days, then 6oz EBM + 1oz formula, then 5oz EBM + 2oz formula.... until you are just giving formula. Bit of a faff but several of my friends have ended up doing this as their babies would refuse formula.

If it is the bottle itself she doesn't like you could try a sippy cup/doidy cup and see if she likes that better?
