FF 5 week old bottom problems - help!

My 5 week-old dd is ff and has very loose stools and terrible discomfort farting. So much so that it wakes her crying from her sleep, and she now has terrible nappy rash which no amount of metanium or sudocreme, or barrier cream will help.
I was until yesterday feeding her Aptamil 1 and using Infacol, and am now trying her on Aptamil comfort, early days yet, her poos seem less runny, but she still has great pains when farting, should I think about trying her on Colief?
Any guidance hugely appreciated. She has stopped feeding at night but still needs much settling throughout the night with all her farts.....

my dd (now 23 weeks) had terrible wind. We tried everything, infacol, dentanox, gripe water etc but nothing made much of a difference. The best advice we had was from a friend who is a naturapath who suggested we make her formula up with camomile tea. (1 teabag per 1 ltr of water).

I was a bit wary at first but tried it and it made a huge difference to DD's ability to burp up wind and to pass it via farts. It also made her poo like clockwork (8am every morning! - freaky!).

If you dont want to try the tea you can help her pass the wind by laying her on her back on your lap and cycling her legs. Also the tiger in the tree holding position helps if they have wind trapped deep.

Hope that helps.
