11 week old - fewer poos

My 11 week old DS has, for the last few days, been pooing far less than he used to. He is EBF, feeding fine, is well and is weeing plenty. Is it normal for them to go from 3 or 4 poos a day to only one?

Many thanks for any replies!

After the first few week's, anything from a poo every time they feed to one only every 7-10days is prefectly normal for a BF baby.

DD usealy went once every 2-3days and even did 10days at one point. BM is so well absorabed that there is offten very little waste. Although be prepared for big explosive poo's which most nappies can't contain, carrying a change of cloths is a nesaty.

Well done and keep up the good work :)

Mine did the same thing. Days of waiting and then poo-maggedon. Freaked me out no end, but now she's been a one poo a day girl for a couple of weeks. I love it and I know its not going to last :)

My 12 week old's not been since Tuesday. He's be christened on Saturday using the gown his Grandfather, father, aunt and uncle were all christened in with handmade antique lace etc.

What's your bet he'll wait until he's in that...

Hmm
