Some may remember i posted before about my dh asking me to wean ds2, now 2.9yrs here. He would only go to sleep at night if bf. DH thought he was too old to bf (weird, disgusting etc) and also thought it was bit restricting as we have ds3, 4 months old.
well, i thought lots over the summer, and as he asked, i compromised and decided to wean.
so previously, only i could get him to sleep, now no-one can! had a horrible bedtime tonight, taken 2.5 hrs to settle him, and he has kept ds1 awake all this time and he has just started school and will be exhausted tomorrow now. it has been 3 weeks and is not improving and i don't know what to do. we do the whole bath. story, lights out, and i have been lying down with him. last night it only took 30 mins from lights out til sleep but usually it is 1-2 hours. tonight i broke and bf him, asleep in 5 mins. now i'm worried i have stuffed it all up, dh will be angry, ds2 will be upset tomorrow night and am just sobbing with despair at it all!
any ideas or moral support welcome!
