What does the number on them mean? all of mine have a number one on them, DS has the odd bottle of EBM, lately he struggles and am wondering if flow is too slow? He is 3.5 months, and have been using same teats since birth, should he now be on the medium teats? And is the number one teat the slow teat? would just pop to tesco to have a look at their teats but got so much to do today....

TIA

I changed the teat flow to medium at around 3/4 months and to fast by 6 months. Have a funny feeling one is the slowest. You could use a needle, widen the teat and see if it makes a difference for one feed. I also used Tommee Tippee but changed to Tescos and Boots own after a few months.

1 is the slowest and 3 is the fastest. 3 is for 6 months plus. You probably need size 2 now. I honk they were from 3 months.

we've kept ours on size 1 as she's been a fussy breast eater and I don't want to make the bottle even more easier for her

climber, my ds is fine on the breast - am leaving him overnight with my parents on friday and want to make having a bottle easy for him on the night and morning so have been gearing up to that the last week by giving him a few fl.oz each night from bottle. he takes it fine but sometimes get frustrated. might just get a size two teat and see if it makes a difference. next week will probably start a thread about he loves the bottle, but for my first night out in 12 months, it is sooooooo worth it....
