hello, have been slowly winding up BFing with DD (now 8 months) and am wondering how much hard and lumpiness is normal and when I should worry?

it's been three days since last BF and one side is fine and one is very weird and hard on the underside.

thanks!

It's quite normal to get hard, painful breasts after you stop feeding.
You can relieve it by massaging to help ease the hardness. You can also use a pump to relieve some of the pressure if it gets very painful.
This can last between one and two weeks, depending on how much you were producing and how suddenly you stopped.
