Sore boob... :-(

I'm ebf my 6 wk old DS and 2 nights ago I expressed approx 4 1/2 oz to help with night feeds. I know this is quite alot to express from one boob but the milk supply seems fine the only prob is that now the boob is really sore kinda under my armpit. Like I said there's still milk coming from it. I was wondering if it could be blocked milk ducts...? And if it is what can I do about it? It's really sore in that area to touch and I dont want to mastitis.

Any advice?

Does it look red and puffy/feel lumpy/hard? If so, sounds like mastitis and you'll need antibiotics. If it's just sore to touch, it could well be blocked ducts, so just massage, feed, and ibuprofen (providing it agrees with you). Also make sure your nursing bra is a comfortable fit.
