Have decided to (finally) stop breastfeeding. Last feed was 4am on Wednesday (yes, this is part of the reason!).
Have spent most of today wincing in pain at my boobs, trying not to pick up DS, wincing in pain when DS manages to bash my boobs and generally just.. putting up with it.
I can't think back through the mists of time to when I last did this (6 yrs ago)so am not sure how long they will feel like this for.
I do feel a little bit sad, I've been feeding DS for 2yrs 6months now and it's the final goodbye to babyhood (not planning on another!).
Also, my boobs have looked fab whilst I've been breastfeeding, this has been a real bonus
