electric pump bargin

Bought myself a TommyTepee closer to nature electric pump today - hadn't meant to buy one till after DS4 born (another 5.5 weeks), but MotherCare is the selling them half price at the moment - £42 only, a great bargin I thought, until I saw Tesco had the same half-price offer (but a few pounds cheaper!).

Thought other MN might want to grab a bargin too, as £80-whatever quid is a lot to spend.

Hand pumps are rubbish IMO, I always found the electric one so much better (but gave mine away years ago).

would reccommend you save your pennies and read the reviews on the Argos site. Mine's packed in a week or more ago and my LO is not 6 weeks yet. The milk backs up the tube and it loses suction. Sorry but hope yours works better than mine!

I returned one of these too. Sorry!

i have one and i think it's brilliant. admittedly i don't use it loads, but i think its really well designed with the pots which go straight into the freezer. if milk backs up, i found i just have to readjust the position (the instructions say to keep it upright). re suction again i just readjust, it should be air tight on your breast.

also the box to sterilise it in is really good so you dn't have to use your main steriliser you can just sterilise the breast pump on its own.

and i got it half price from tescos!
