milk donation in surrey

does anyone in redhill / reigate area donate their breastmilk?
if so, where and how?
i'm not a driver and can't find one near that collects from home.

St Peters in Chertsey accepts it so perhaps ring them and ask for the nearest to you?

If you take a look at the link that Organic posted you will probably find that they will collect the milk from your home.

have already spoken with St Peters and the lady could not think of anywhere else to suggest.
half hoping someone in my area might be donating and driving their milk there and then perhaps take mine too (once i'm all sorted and tested etc)

I know hudds collect even though the map says they don't so don't be put off if it looks like your nearest bank don't collect. Email to be sure. Also some of them travel very far to collect, eg chester collect from hull.

Try contacting your local NCT. Often they have people willing to collect and deliver (usually the collectors are NCT). Or someone there may be willing to set up a collection circle.

Marking this thread as also interested in donating in Surrey and not a driver - will email Southampton and any London ones but interested to hear if there is any NCT collection.

I've emailed Kings College and Medway.
Will post replies on here... and try to get in contact with NCT on Monday.

me too - am Guildford based and would love to donate once DD is into more of a routine- was a subu baby myself. Don't drive so if anyone finds out about collections I'm in.

No reply from the hospitals yet, and have not had the time to find the no. for NCT and call them today.

Kingston has a milk bank (or certainly did 3 years ago).

Right, Kings College have replied and said we're too far for them. They suggested Charlottes hosp... I'll email them.
Could someone please try NCT as what with househunting and trying to find a venue for my mates hen do in New York I'm failing to tick 'call NCT' off my list each day.
