Hope you finally got some sleep last night, or were able to catch up a bit today. Dd2 is 3 weeks old on Tuesday, it's going soo fast!
I have a 2.4 year old dd1 too, dp is looking after her a lot, but he's self-employed and has had to go back to work, so I've been finding visitors very useful for entertaining dd1 and holding the baby. You're not the only ones rowing, we've been rowing too, mostly due to money worries - we might have to move v soon and I might have to go back to my mum's for a while
Is your 2 year old jealous? Mine is, especially of nappy changes, me bf all the time, and her buggy being changed back into a pram for dd2's downstairs bed. She was v stressed and sad for the first week or so, as well as being v excited, but she's much more settled now. I'm a SAHM and dd1 has been with me every day since she was born, and so it's been a big wrench for us both. No-one prepared me for how upset I'd be about the changes - I miss her soo much and the wonderful days when it was just the two of us. I've cried so much about it, it's ridiculous! I can't wait till things settle a bit and we can get into some kind of routine and go to the park together again!
At least you know your neighbours will be understanding when yours scream!
Can you maybe help each other out or are their dc older? Hope the wind sorts itself out sooner rather than later, they are windy little things in the early months, aren't they. Dd2 is on and off the boob, on and off and fussing for ages, drives me mad!
Whoops, I've written you a novel!
Hope all is going well. x
