needing a bit of help with my 19week old, she has a wee cold so i am taking that into consideration. she is bottle fed, this morning she only took 120ml out of her 210ml feed (7am)
then she has only taken 30ml of her 2nd feed. she's not slept properly.

if she has a cold then she may not want to suck. It wont hurt her if she has the odd off day intake wise though i know how worrying it is for us mums.

You could try feeding her more often while her cold persists. If she normally feeds every 4 hours and takes 7 oz (210ml) try every two hours and see if you can get her to take 3 oz.

I agree, she may feed less but more often.

If she's got a stuffy nose, try saline nasal drops (available from any pharmacy) as they will help her to breathe more easily whist feeding.

To help her sleep, try a plug in vaporiser and/or raising the mattress slightly at the head of the cot (put a book under it or something).

Hope she's feeling better again soon.
