missing a feed...express?...supply?....

I have a wedding to go to away from home. It's the first time I will be leaving DD and so she will miss her feed before bed from me.

I breastfeed her morning when she wakes and evening before bed (6.30pm). During the day she takes formula from a cup. The plan is for her to take a abottle from my mum in the eevening.

But, as I am feeding her so little I am worried about any effect this will have on my supply. Will I need to find somewhere at about the same time to express?

you should be fine. From 5 months, I've regularly been skipping the 8am feed at the weekend (I need my beauty sleep Smile).

At 9 months your supply should be rock solid and handle any blips. You might need to express a bit, in case you get uncomfortable

Excellent. Thanks for the reply. Was worried it would enforce an end to that feed so this is re-assuring.
