I'm starting to feel like stopping br/feeding is on the horizon but having real trouble deciding whether to give up yet or not?
How do you know if the time is right? Am worried in case I regret my decision!

Arghh - when do you know the time is right?

How old is your child? What would your reasons for stopping be? What would your reasons for carrying on be?
IMO (but I'm biased) it's easier to carry on (maybe cutting down) and work around any problems that brings, that's the lazy mother's option and also your child continues to get the benefits of breastmilk and breastfeeding.
If your child is under 12 mo you'll need to buy formula which is expensive and a faff to make up (although after 6 mo not so much I don't think).
If your child is under 6 mo then if you can carry on I would - breastmilk is the best diet for the first 6 months.

WSS, if the baby's under 12m it's so much easier to carry on than stop I'd definitely carry on, if the baby's over 12m then what are the reasons to stop? generally it's always easier to carry on than to stop, they self wean eventually...
