Am now just giving my 9 mth old a morning and evening feed - is this enough? She has formula with her porridge and usually a yoghurt a day so will will these extra calcium supplements be enough with the 2 feeds?

Be so greatful for any help x

I think at this age I used to give a feed in the middle of afternoon as well. And maybe one in morning if they asked for it.

i cut down to 3 feeds when i introduced 3 solid meals, at that age was giving milk feed at around 2.30pm - dropped this at a year.

I follow dd's lead and she breastfeeds about 8-10 times per 24hrs and is offered food 3-4 times a day.

My DS has self weaned to morning and evening feeds only and is 9mo old tomorrow. He was taking a lunchtime feed until about a week ago when he dropped it.

He has cows milk with his enormous serving of porridge in the morning and I always give cheese and usually yoghurt at tea time.

If you are doing purees rather than BLW, cauliflower cheese is a great way of getting cheese into them. My DS loves it, though he also happily feeds himself chunks of cheese.
