BF frequency to keep supply up? (mix-feed)

I am returning to work when my DD is 6 mon but want to keep partially BF for a little longer, maybe until 8 mon. I was wondering whether 1x/day/breast (morning/evening) was enough to keep the supply up? If not, I can manage 2x/day/breast(morning, lunch, evening, midnt) but any more will be difficult. Is this enough to keep the supply up?

Also, if anybody is doing this, as we don't really know how much our DC is drinking from breast, how much FF should we supplement with?

I mixed fed DS1 and he had his last bf when he was about 14 months old - by then he was feeding about twice a day. So it is possible.

As for formula, could you not just give him 80z which is a full bottle - he will drink as much as he wants and leave the rest.

I returned to work when DD was 7 months she had two bottles of EBM/Aptamil during the day and I still fed her in the morning before I left for work, at bedtime and a dream feed before I went to bed. She did also reverse cycle when teething so breast fed in the night too at points. I am still bfing twice a day at 14 months so you can definitely keep up the supply.
