I am going to have start ff in September which is a shame because BF is going so well, my question is if he must have a bottle at lunchtime and probably mid afternoon is there any real benefit to his morning and evening feeds being breast milk ?
I will do it if there is but am just thinking it would make life a lot less stressful if he just had ff.
But then he's only three months :( Oh a mothers guilt :(

Yes because he will still recieve the components of breast milk that are not in formula milk.

However how do you feel? That is also important. Do you want to continue or do you think you should?

When my older two went to nursery at six months they only really fed morning and evening (and maybe an after nursery feed at the start). For me anyway it was straightforward - my supply easily adjusted and kept up and it was lovely to be able to give that last thing at night feed and snuggle up. It is a lovely way to reconnect again. I ended up carrying on until 18 months ish with just those feeds.
