My dd has had oral thrush since she was about 4 weeks old, every time we think it's cleared up it returns again after about a week. I use the nystacin (sp?) drops on her & I have cream for me too. Just wondered as probiotics help in vaginal thrush I presume they would work the same for babies. Has anyone tried them with success?

Hi - can't help with probiotics, but just wanted to highlight that Nystatin is not always effective and the better medication is daktarin. Have a search on the internet for the breastfeeding network leaflet on thrush.
