bleeding again...period??

I have a four week old and stopped bleeding after about 2 weeks. noticed reddish discharge about 3 days ago, no bleeding, not heavy but bright red, and mixed with discharge...sorry tmi..

a panty liner is enough at the mo..any ideas what this could be? no real pain either.

forevermore, are you breast or bottlefeeding? if bottlefeeding could be your period, if breastfeeding would be unlikely. The normal lochia after childbirth can last 6 weeks though.

oooh, hard to know, then! I noticed my periods returned after my ds's started to sleep through the night, missing one feed. Possibly the equivalent of mixed feeding? Probably nothing to worry about if its fairly light. Do you have to go back to hospital/midwife for a check-up?

hi my little boy is 5 weeks today i had the same as you bleeding at 4 weeks and only small. i stopped bleeding from having him after 4 days so im calling mine a period. it is very poss a period.

i think i've got my period. my dd is 8 weeks & exclusively breastfed. it's not fair! my lochia stopped after 3.5 weeks.
