Itraconazole while bfing? (breast thrush)

I've had 2 weeks of Fluconazole that haven't worked and I've been prescribed 100mg of Itraconazole for a week. I keep finding pages online saying not to take it while bfing but this dose is a protracted dose, not the usual 4 pills in one day whack. I found one page stating that it has started to be used for nipple thrush cos Fluconazole can be ineffective.
Obviously I'm desperate to shift this thrush cos it's fricking agony but I don't want to take something that'll affect DS negatively. Anyone have any experience?
