as I wind down breast feeding, I am wondering what is the best pill to go on. the mini pill or loestrin or something else.... does anyone know which has less side effects or does anyone have a preference?

I personally will be converting to the combined pill once i finish breast feeding. As i fell pregnant whilst on holiday using the mini pill. Although i have to admit she was a welcomed accident Smile

I was on the combined pill for 8 years before stopping to ttc. I tried a few different ones over the years and most of them were fine. Logynon was a good one, as was Microgynon.

Since having DS I've went on the mini pill Cerazette and it's going well so far.

DS is almost 6 months and I'm also thinking about stopping breastfeeding soon. I honestly think I'm going to go to see GP and ask to be put back on the combined pill. As much as I like Cerazette I feel odd not having any periods and I've heard a few people say they fell pregnant on the mini pill.
