And biting HARD! I remember DD1 doing this but I would just take her off for a few minutes and she learnt pretty quickly not to bite. I also don't remember her ever biting this hard!

DD2 is going to be fully weaned by this time tomorrow at this rate - she is really sinking her new gnashers into me whenever I let her anywhere near me and as a result has only had a gulp or two of milk today which I'm a bit concerned about as we only started weaning her ten days ago or so (oh I am a mean mummy- mostly concerned that without filling her tummy neither of us will get any sleep tonight! Tut tut).

Anyone tried nipple shields? Any good?

Has she got more teeth coming through? My DS did this when his top front ones were about to pop.

I would say no firmly and take him off. Or quickly bring him into my boob so he'd delatch (sounds worse than it really is).
