Regression and nipple fiddling

DS2 is 2.6. I officially stopped BFing him at 19months - almost a year ago. Lately though he has started up again - just on the odd occasion he'll just latch on for a few sucks. Not sure what to do about it really. I secretly quite like it as I miss BFing and think now he will probably be our last.

The big thing though is the "nipple fiddling". DS1 used to like putting his hand in my bra particularly when tired (only recently stopped age 5)but DS2 likes to flick my nipple back and forth at high speed and I can't stand it. Short of wearing long sleev roll necks for the rest of my life I've run out of ideas to "nip" it in the bud (pun intended) Any help appreciated Smile

Bump. Anyone?

If you can't stand it I would advise not giving him access to be honest. It would be really hard to relactate at this age (can be done) but not with just latching on for the odd occasion.

I am sure there will be more useful advice on the way

I still have milk from when ne was nursing properly though. He is definitely getting something. The nursing doesn't bother me so much as the nipple fiddling tbh. He has his hand in my bra constantly.

oooh yes I hate this too. Sorry I don't have any ideas but I do have sympathy!

I have stopped feeding DS3 at 18 months.
For comfort now though he slurps and sucks on my belly - sometimes leaving little lovebite type marks.
Do you have something you could offer him instead? How about pennies in his hands to keep his fingers busy?

I was thinking about getting him one of those chicken fillets people use to enhance their bust! Do you think that'd do the trick? Wink

Oh my DS would find that hilarious... might be worth it for his face...

I have tried today getting him to fiddle with his fingers/my fingers/his ear/his nose instead... all to no avail!

Sympathies
I stopped feeding DS at 12m and his hand STILL goes down my top 17 months later. Esp when watching telly together and at night if he comes into our bed (most nights) he reaches over and helps himself to a "handful"

I had to wear roll necks to stop him helping himself to night feeds but can't do that now - am pg.

No secret liking it, it drives me mad and am worried about what will happen with DC2.

Well my DS1 has only just stopped grabbing a handful when tired and he's 5 Shock But he never nipple flicked. DS2 is a big thumbsucker too and he particularly likes nuzzling up to my chest while sucking his thumb and using his first finger to play with my nipple. Eek!

If I wear extra clothing he will try and undress me so he can get in and also likes turfing my boob out into full view in public. It's all wearing quite thin now.
