Formula At 15 months

My son Ikaia is almost 16 months and has been on Isomil 2 advance soy formula since he turned 9 months old. I have tried introducing milk to him but he WILL NOT drink it. I have also been trying to wean him off bottles entirely. He drinks juice and water from his beaker cup but when it is time for bed, he will not sleep w/o a bottle, and it has to be his formula. I tried mixing the two (milk & Formula)but he will not drink it mixed. And occasionally he wakes up at 1 or 2 am for another bottle. He eats solid foods no problem, and snacks on fruit, veg, crackers, etc... but lately, and I was wondering if this has anything to do with his formula, he wakes up on occasion @ 1am and cries for 10 minutes or so then takes his bottle and goes back to sleep. My husband thinks it is gas, but I do not know what to do and my neighbors are ready to kill us (because of his night cries)...HELP ME

It may well be the case that he sees the bottle as a comforting object rather than just a feed. When I introduced the milk I started on day one with 7 oz of formula and 1 of milk, increasing milk/reducing formula by an Oz. a day. I think he hardly noticed the difference (actually, he would drink anything that is white regardles of the flavour), but if your child is very sensitive to the flavour change maybe going in half Oz steps per day may help
