What does this sound like to you? Temper?

I have a 7 week old who is bottle fed. She's a bit of a bugger at times when it comes to feedng. Let me describe...

She'll take 3oz before getting wriggly, and clearly needing to be winded. So, I take her off and she does a mega burp, before getting hysterical for about 10mins. Then, she'll suddenly stop, and take the rest of the milk.

She's always been a bit like this, but it has got a bit more dramatic of late. The only feeds when she doesn't do this is the (half asleep) dream feed and (half asleep) middle of the night feed.

I did think about wind/reflux, but the hysterical crying is defo not a cry of pain. And it never continues once she's had her fill. She's also happy lying down etc etc. So, I'm thinking it's just temper. Is it possible for a 7 week old to get this angry?!? Any tips on how to calm her down?

It's always worse in new environments and when DD2 is around (she's a noisy 2 year old) or when other people are around.

She's the happiest little thing other than that, and is in a lovely wee routine. Your verdict?

To me it sounds like she's a bit nosey, so stops to look around when she's still hungry really. But am no expert so may be worth bumping in a bit to try and get some better advvice.

this sounds familiar although DD is BF - have you tried gripe water? It was like a magic bullet!

OOh, thanks will try the bumping. might be right about being nosey though.. she is a bit nebby. Not tried gripe water, but have some in the baby cupboard. Will give it a go!
