Still Dream feed my 7 mnth DS. I don't want to to drop it in case he wakes up during the night. Just wondered when other dream feeders droppped the dream feed?

We dropped it two nights ago, with no nasty surprises to report: DS is just short of 7 mths.
I'm mix-feeding, but we were giving him formula around 10/11pm, and shrank the feed over the last week or so. After he'd done a few nights on 2 oz, we felt safe to stop. (In fact I think we could have done it a bit earlier, esp after introducing solids. But it does feel sooooo like tempting fate.)

I still feed my little one through the night.. but I know I'm just odd not minding this.
She's 14 months.

DS dropped his nightfeed at about 3 mths - slept all the way through for over 2 mths. BUT - he is now 6 and a half months - he wakes for a feed at 1am, 5am and 7am ! Straight back off to sleep after/during it though.
Going back to work on Thursday - I'm hoping he's going to stop it all again soon !

At about six months. A friend had already done it so I was feeling the peer pressure. To be honest, I think dd didn't need it. She certainly didn't miss it. We did the thing where you gradually reduce the amount in the bottle. I was going to do it really gradually - 1oz or 2 a week, but did it faster in the end and when we got down to only 3oz she seemed to be getting p*ed off that there was so little milk that she was actually in danger of waking up and being grumpy so I just bit the bullet and it went really well.
