Crying and squirming mid bottle feed

My 11 week old DD has started to squirm whilst being feed and on a couple of occasions started crying mid feed.

I just fed her and she took 90ml/3ozs then suddenly started to cry and wouldn't take the teat again.

She's also now taking alot less and since I started this message she's farted about 10 times and they are rancid!

Anyone experienced similar with their little ones or have any advice?

could this be reflux? Sounds like your baby has some of the symptoms? Just a guess. Our DS had it and this is what happened with him.

Try the next size / faster teat. That way she should take in less air and get the milk in quicker - this worked for my 2 dds. Sounds like she's taking in a lot of air and getting tired of sucking for small amount. This should help. PS my dd2 is 11 weeks too.

Thanks for the replies. I moved her up to the next size teat last week as she was getting agitated whilst feeding and taking up to 45mins to take 180ml.

I've just fed her and she was absolutely fine and took 150ml. Beginning to think it might be as she hasn't pooed for nearly 2 days. Might try gripe water?

I always knew being a parent was going to be a challenge but I also find it incredibly frustrating!
