6.5 month old refusing bfeeds in day should I worry?

DS4 is 6.5m, exc bf'ed til about 24 wks when weaned, mixture of spoonfed and blw. Is an absolute gannet, eats anything and everything - weaned earlier than planned as sitting up, grabbing everything and irritable when seeing others eat.

He has 3 meals a day but sometimes miss lunch depending on where we are etc. Instigated by him.

He is now refusing day bfeeds, has both sides bfeed at bed then 1-3 feeds at night. Yesterday he had bfeed at 6 then refused til 3 (only had porridge for breakfast no lunch), then bedtime feed at 7, woke for feed at 1 and 5 and nothing since.

I offer breast before food and after makes no difference, he is v distracted but still doesn't feed in quiet dark room in day. But he does 'ask' for food - shouting when he sees anyone eating!

Should I worry? What can I do? Other DS's still had 4+ feeds a day at this age.

Mine did this until a week ago (nearly 9mo), for quite a few weeks. It was a combination of lots of solids and being really distractible. I just kept offering in a boring environment, eventually he came back round. It's annoying but he'll take what he needs, I think

At 6.5m he was having a 10min feed at 7am, then a tiny one at 12, and a 5min one at 4pm. And nothing at night!

It is better now though
