Any hints on getting a 12month to stop bf? I?ve now stopped expressing when I?m at work, and we?ve introduced cow?s milk successfully ? she drinks it fine at day-care, and from my husband. However she go nuts if she doesn?t get fed first thing in the morning, and ditto when I first get home from work. She goes down fine at night with a bottle, but again only from my husband ? if I offer her one she looks outraged and hurls it to the floor. We?ve never had problems getting her to take ebm, but again she?s never accepted a bottle from me...

Hello - I reckon you have to wear a really, really thick jumper and give her a cuddle as she is probably after the closeness of a feed for emotional rather than feeding needs!! If she can't smell your milk then she might be more responsive to a cuddle and then realise how nice they are, and that the drinks bar need not be open for a good time!!

It would probably be a good idea to try this after someone else had fed her, to ensure she isn't hungry. Good luck
