My beautiful 12 week old has started taking full 6oz feeds and i get the impression when i take the empty bottle away she starts girning! i could give her more, if i do she often brings some bak up!
other thing when i am eating meals she sits in her bouncer next to me and gets so excited seeing my food and eat.

She sounds normal, preggarschick Your HV will be able to discuss whether she needs more than the 6 oz or not.

All 12 week old babies will look at what their mothers are doing and get excited and social. It doesn't mean they are ready for solids. Your baby does not associate what you are doing - eating - with the satisfying of hunger. She just sees you doing something and is interested....it could be anything

You're not seriously suggesting her reactions indicate she needs food, are you?

Not sure what you are asking here?

But I wouls be about 100% certain that she's not ready to start eating solids yet.

They do get extra hungry around 12 weeks when they have a growth spurt, but they just need more milk!

As for the watching you eat, she loves you so much, that she loves everything you do... she will watch if you're cleaning your teeth, talking on the phone, whatever, but being excited about watching adults eat does not mean they are ready for it too.

Congratulations on your lovely girl, by the way!

Have fun with your lovely girl, it is so nice the way they adore us and our every move! I'm sure it won't last all too soon it will be "mum you are sooooo embarrassing!"

I always brush my teeth in front of dd in the morning - I love the way she studies my mouth so intently!
