7mth Old refusing cups and bottles

I have been breastfeeding my baby for 7 months and have been weaning her for 1 month. I should have tried before but I have only tried to give her a bottle of expressed milk in the last month. She has a strong dislike of it and screams when ever I try to give it to her. I have tried 2 different types of bottle with expressed milk and formula. I have also tried free flow cups and soft spout cups which she chews on but will not drink out of. I have read such alot of conflicting advice. Some say hold out till they take it and others say definately don't do that and wait till they are relaxed. Just really confused and need a break! Any advice gratefully recieved!!

DD is 14 months and was like this, but we persevered and she now drinks from an Avent magic cup during the day - still has a breast feed in the morning and before she goes to bed though!
I did it by giving her a bf as soon as she woke (so I knew she'd had something to drink), and placing a cup of milk on her tray when she was being fed her cereal. She normally has porridge, so I made it a little bit thicker than normal, and then offered her a drink from the cup to wash it down. Then at subsequent meal times, just leave the cup on the tray, and let her investigate. We went through (and still go through!) lots of playing with the cup and trying to get the milk out, but she'll now have at least 2 cupfuls of milk this way. I also leave the cup of milk about the house within her reach and she likes having the independence of "deciding" when she has a drink
