I did both times. Cake and hot chocolate were my downfalls!

Nowt wrong with it. Eat as you need to, but keep active. The weight will come off in time.

Me! I have been back in my normal clothes for ages (DD is 6 weeks) and I could eat 24 hours a day ATM. I cannot sit to feed without a plate of something nearby. Our local breastfeeding lady suggested I have a pint glass of water/milk squash and drink it all during a feed as often thirst is mistaken for hunger. I have found this is helping and is also increasing my liquid intake and boosting my supply.

I didn't, in fact I struggled to have an appetite at all and managed to lose a lot of the weight I gained in the first few weeks because of my non-exsistent appetite. When it slowed down I joined slimming world and lost the rest of the weight whilst being able to eat loads of lovely food.

forgot to add a bit that I was typing in my head I have been in my normal clothes...... but am slowly growing out of them again!

I started a thread about this a couple of weeks ago...like you I cannot stop eating! I lost my baby weight fast after giving birth but have gained 5lb in the past couple of weeks. Chocolate is my downfall. I crave it all the time and its horrible. After losing all the weight fast I went crazy and am now feeling rubbish as some of my clothes feel tight again.

I could eat all day long...

I still cant excercise properly either as my C-section wound hasnt healed properly after 13 weeks aaarrggghh!!

So...Im trying to stop eating!

Francagoestohollywood · 11/07/2010 22:00

Yes, I did. Eating kept me sane

Brasso4 · 11/07/2010 22:04

Still eating...find it hard to stop!

Milk an nutella on bread. Best food ever while breastfeeding.

Been feeding for 9 months and I am always hungry. trying to eat healthily but I crave cake all the time. Am spending loads on food shopping at the moment and perhaps the government should do an incentive to us BF mums such as provide us with healthy eating food vouchers to support our huge appetites!

Very hungry here. I have decided to stop fighting. I just get tired and irritable. Better all round if I get a bit fat I think.

mamatomany · 12/07/2010 12:49

Lol, am glad it's not just me, am trying to walk everywhere to burn some of the chocolate off too.
An apple doesn't cut hit the spot though.

Yep - nutella on oatcakes also very good (and you can kid yourself it's healthy as it's an oatcake).
