I thought I would share my bargain news with you!

I've just bought The Rain Before it Falls in WHSmith for only £2.99 (But I had to buy a copy of The Times to get it for that price). It's only special offer for this week only.

I'm hoping to find the time to read it before the 1st of July. I've read a few of his other books and loved them. What a Carve Up is one of my all time favourite books.

I bought it in smiths yesterday - ours had an offer for buy a top 50, get one free so I got it along with the kite runner, which I haven't read for £7.99 !

Nice bargain hunting - I'm lugging around my hardback and wishing I'd bought a seperate paperback copy instead...

What a Carve Up is one of my Desert Island books too, I might have to re-read it over these broken breastfeeding nights to keep myself laughing.

They've re-issued all the J. Coe novels to match.

It's one of the things authors dream of - the entire backlist actually in print and in decent covers! I bet people think this just happens as a matter of course.)

I just finished reading that, and loved it! (blarted of course at the end )
Haven't read dwarves of death yet though...
