Page turner, lots of twists and turns please!

Hello!

I'm looking for a really good autumn read - sort of dark, scary, suspenseful and lots of twists and turns. Maybe even a really good detective thriller. I've read most of the Scarpetta series which are fab.

Any recommendations?

Do you like historical fiction? I really enjoyed 'The Square of Sevens' by Laura Shepherd-Robinson. Not exactly scary, but a fun thriller.

Shardlake series by C J Sampson.

I second that. Now reading SJ Parris series set in a similar timescale/similar story lines.

My reading is a lot of historical fiction nowadays. I loved Alison Weir and Philippa Gregory. Stranger and more plot twisty than fiction!!

I'm not into historical books at all 😬 but Shardlake sounds good!!
